WHERE AND WHEN

Important Notice

MICAM’s exhibitors are receiving an increasing amount of unsolicited mails from companies which ask them for the confirmation of their respective business data for the purpose of inserting the same on virtual catalogues against the payment of subscription fees.
Such unsolicited misleading communication are often accompanied by texts and images similar to those used by MICAM. Upon receipt of such type of communication the companies are hereby invited to duly verify the content and authenticity of the relevant source.
Assocalzaturifici and ANCI Servizi S.r.l. a Socio Unico – MICAM Organizers – either never authorized third parties to treat and/or process exhibitors’ data nor to use their trademarks. For more details, please read the communication concerning legal actions taken by the Organizer.

Furthermore, we suggest to verify the orders that have been placed during the trade fair. In the past there have been cases of orders signed by companies that were not MICAM visitors. We would therefore advise you to always contact your customers before fulfilling the orders placed during trade fairs.

In the weeks leading up to each edition of the event, certain non-European companies offer e-mail lists of MICAM visitors including company names, contact details, trademarks, etc.
These companies use the MICAM trade mark without authorization, pretending to be the Organiser of the event in order to attract the attention of the recipients.
We hereby confirm that the MICAM visitor database is reserved for the exclusive use of the Organiser and that no external company has access to this data.
Our company is constantly warning such companies that they are in no way authorised to process MICAM participants’ data and/or sell information that is not available for sale in the relevant market.
The conduct of such companies undoubtedly constitutes trademark infringement and unfair competition.
We urge you to be very careful with such promotions and not to follow up on any requests for paid services involving MICAM visitors’ data and any related information.
